I have been involved with undergraduate and postgraduate education as a split education/research academic since 2016 (40% education, 40% research, 20% admin; at King’s College London and the University of Southampton), and as a guest lecturer since 2010 (at the University of Melbourne and Australian National University). I have contributed to multiple international postgraduate training programmes.
I teach across all year levels, delivering tutorials, computer- and lab-based practicals, lectures and field trips in topics covering ecology, physical geography, global change, aquatic science, biodiversity conservation and research methods, including statistics. I have designed, coordinated, delivered and examined modules, and led residential field courses up to 16 days long.
I teach into various modules in the BSc Geography, BA Geography and MSc & MA courses at King’s. More info can be found in the links provided.
